I just bought a Dark Horse with the handling package. I want/need to drive this in North East Ohio. Current rim size does not allow an all season tire. Would putting the GT rims on my DH be an issue? The service guy said it could be an issue. Thanks in advance!

Yes, I want to be able to drive it in cooler temps and then put the Pirellis on in the summer.

To each their own. I live in South Dakota and there is no way I'm driving my Dark Horse in the Winter, regardless if I had all Season Tires on it.

The performance package rim i think is the same on the DH and G. T.
Even if not, I don't know why the service guy doesn't think I cant put the regular dark horse rims on this mustang. Wish, I knew more. This is my first Mustang. I bought an F150 a couple years ago and fell in love with Ford.

I live in Illinois, I bought my Dark Horse late December actually 12/27. I ordered it in April of 2023. Got tired of waiting called Ford customer service they located the exact car I ordered minus the painted stripes. Which was cool with me. Now my Dark Horse like others sits at home in the garage undercover a dark horse cover at that. Waiting for warm weather and no snow. There was another gentleman who posted about buying a 2024 GT convertible. Some sort of hole in behind the wheel well of the 2024. It's on this 7G site I wish I could remember so you could look for it more easily. But yes I called my son and had him look at my dark horse because I wasn't home The hole is there another reason not to drive in the winter time Big rust problem if you can find a video good information. I will be having pieces fabricated to cover the holes in the spring.
But no not driving in the winter time probably not even in the rain Good luck with your car my friend

Thanks for the reply. I havent even driven home from the dealership yet because the weather is so bad, there is salt all over the roads up here. Do you think its ok to drive it home and then garage it once it reaches the 40s next week? Or should i have it towed?

On the S550, a good setup a lot of people run is 19x10, +35ET, square; this will allow you to run an AS tire at 285/35/19, either Continental or Michelin. I don't believe the S650 suspension changed, so this square setup could be something to consider.

Mach I HP wheels +24 front, +52 rear, 305/30-19 (19x10.5) and 315/30-19 (19x11). I transitioned to the above. It was unbolt, bolt on. No other changes required. No poke. No rub. Tire circumference stayed within 3%.

I just bought these rims from project 6

Black 10 spoke Wheels: 20x11 20x11.5

305/30/20 squared all seasons.

Pretty excited!!
Should fit as this setup is already on a DH they have.

The dealership actually tried to put the nite pony black rims on my HP DH but the front rIms actually wouldn't fit OVER THE Brembos.
