Per CSX as of this morning, the rail car with my vehicle is now "constructively placed," which means it's at the railyard near my dealership but waiting to be unloaded.

My tracker changed to "Final Preparation" about 30 minutes before the dealer called me. Mine arrived at the dealership along with a large contingent of other Mustangs that morning.

I'm pretty confident our cars are on the same train. I finally got a "Built" on 8/22/23 and a "Shipped" on 8/29. I asked Ford Chat for a rail number, tracked it via CSX, and got the same info (7/30/23 9:15 am Willard, Ohio - 8/2/31 7:15 pm Jessup, MD).

I'm hoping that getting it on a truck from the railyard to the dealer is a quick process but I bet we don't get them before next Friday with Memorial Day weekend and dealer prep time.

Looks like our train finally left Ohio. It's in PA now.

There was some update today to my tracker on the back end, but the ETA didn't change (still 8/28 - 9/10).

My vehicle had been sitting in New Boston for about 10 days. I received the email that my vehicle shipped at 11pm last night. Today, ford chat had no new information. No rail car or anything. Although my estimated delivery date was moved up 1 day. Perhaps it was shipped by truck and not rail car? Sticker does show convoy… but I’m in Alabama. Was sure it’d go by rail.

My car also sat at New Boston for about 8ish days. I then got the "shipped" email and checked with Ford Chat who gave me a rail car number. Maybe yours is getting ready to load onto a railcar?

I am actually checking on one in Cincinnati. It has more on it than the one I ordered and I can get for less, plus the dealership I went through for mine were idiots yesterday
I will let you know what I decide to do, but have the feeling one on town is going to take me when mine comes in, if it ever does

According to the dealerships unless your are real close to where they are built, they all go by train to the hub closest to you then transfer to the truck

I just got moved to 9/13-9/18 eta, SMH, called and bitched at my deal, they don’t car.

No, found one and it has more in it than mine did. Only problem is it is 7 1/2 hours away and my X plan won’t start for 2 mos yet the way it’s going, my order won’t be here until spring and I am getting really fed up. The dealership I went through would be the one to screw me over
