Well, it sounds a little better. That is all it will do, is give more sound. But I think it woke it up just a little, before putting headers on. It will SCREAM with headers. Here is a short video clip.

Sounds terrifying but it's also indoors.
Also just want to say I absolutely hate those kind of wheels but damn your car looks great with them!
What lowering springs are you on?

And are those 19” or 20” wheels?

Looks and sounds great. Seriously considering this color for my next Mustang. Now, gonna need you to get back to reviewing phones, sir. ;)

I Love that Cold Start up sound, even with the stock exhaust. I know that the new S650’s have had the Exhaust (from Manifold on down) redone to get the Pop’s and Burbles on hard rev‘s but can you post another short video where you can see if this is still achievable please?? I am thinking of doing the X-Pipe instead of the Ford Performance Catback setup and from some posts on here, I’m hearing the Resonator Delete is all that we may just need. I’m sure the Aftermarket Ford Performance Catback setup will eventually come for me and my GT.

I've heard lots of people say the X-Pipe is all that's needed for the S650, so I gave it a shot. I like it, and it does not cost much. I'll be doing headers next, can't wait to feel the new power they put down. And the MUCH louder sound the car will have. I plan on keeping my active exhaust, since I paid for it by adding it to my order. I know Ford will bring something, but I'm just gonna stay with my active setup.

I just watched a number of videos on this. One was a very detailed dyno test between stock, X-pipe, and H-pipe on an ActiveValve. Every one was within the same 3 hp range.

Cold start and Rev to 5k. H pipe only. Haven't noticed any power increase just people's heads turn when I pass by :D

That sounds really good to me!! So maybe the X-Pipe is the way to go and it’s pretty inexpensive as well. I’ll just need to find something to get my exhaust tip’s Black.

I had my car on a dyno stock, H pipe and X pipe back to back for all three, and yes, they were all within just a few hp. Very little difference.

Gentlemen, can't we just talk about our passion for Mustangs without interjecting our feelings about other issues into the equation. It never ceases to amaze me how such simple, well intended topics can go south so quickly. Maybe I'm just getting old and crotchety.
