I have had my S650 for 8 months now, was built 7/27/23. Atlas Blue GT, stunning car and i love its looks. I have had several interior buzzes and rattles that could be heard in different situations and at different loudness levels. I have taken the car into Ford 4 times for them now, but still have a few that are intermittent. It has kind of put a damper on my ability to feel excited to drive the car, but I don't know if I'm holding this car at too high of a standard as far as what is normal or not.
I owned a 2015 Mustang GT for 3 years before my 2024 GT, the 2015 had no rattles or noises at all, and the exhaust was louder on it, so if they were going to develop, they would have. So, coming from the dated 2015, to this, i was expecting the same if not better. So hearing the rattles and buzzes i have, it just rubs me the wrong way. But again, i don't know any other S650 owners in person so i don't know if its a common thing. I'm 24 and this is the first big purchase i've made where i have spent a lot of money and didn't need a bank for the whole thing. I don't know if my sense of pride is being too sensitive or what. Thanks in advance for any comments!
side note: I am a team lead at a Honda manufacturing plant for the Civic and CRV. With that being said, i know noises happen and there is never a perfect car. Im not trying to complain about the mustang, i love the car, just having a hard time gauging where a $58k car should stand on what's acceptable for quality.
