I'm sorry if this has been posted already (I tried searching but had no luck).

I have a Dark Horse Premium (Non-HP), and I'm considering putting some new tires on the car since I live in northern Indiana.

Stocks are 255-40-19 Front and 275-40-19 Rear.

Question: Should I stick with the stock tire size or bump it up? If I should bump it up, what are the widest tires I can put on these wheels?

This is my first Mustang, so I'm just trying to care for her as best as possible.

Thanks for the help!

I would go 275/35/19 front and 285/35/19 rear. Mich PS4S or the new Contis. Those would be a perfect fit. The 9.5"wheel supports a 275 tire and the 10" supports a 285" perfectly. I wouldn't go beyond that.

Also, I love the 25th ID patch. I served with 1/101st Airborne in Iraq and A-Stan (2-320th FAR & 1-327th IN). The 25th ID guys were always top-notch. I have always respected you guys! 🤙🏻

Hopefully you won't mind if I bump in...
Since I'm thinking about whipping up my DH, would 325s fit in the rear?
I'm thinking of going with 20" rims and lower profile to get the width and retain overall tire diameter.
