Whipple Competition Open Air Box Kit

Thinking of buying this from Lethal Performance but I would like to hear from someone who actually has it and can attest. Does this increase the whine from the whipple charger?? That's what I am most concerned with. I want this sucker to WHINE!

It’s not gonna whine like a TVS.
I pullied down to a 3.5, with the exhaust in quiet mode with the windows down you’ll hear the compressor “sing” more…

so if you want more compressor noise, pull the lids off.. or run the comp air box.
You can also do like I did and pulley down to spin it higher
And a 3rd option would be removing hood insulation

Just watched a video of the Roush TVS charger.... whines like a hellcat. crazy. Guess I'll do the comp air box to help get a little more whine

Not if you have a stage 2, but you need octane, either high quality E30 blend or race gas like MS109 or 260GT

They recommend 100 octane plus to pulley down some, I wouldn’t even recommend the 3.5 pulley I have, car is too fxckin fast… waaaay too Fn fast.

I think similar setups dyno in the mid 800 wheel range

I cant really hear the whine on mine but im running long tubes and Atak catback So its pretty loud exhaust im running. I Will try and. Get video pulls soon.

This is my wife driving it for the first time with the whipple the other day. Not to crazy on the throttle so nothing that you can really hear. again ill try and get some pulls on video soon…
