Hello fellow Tucsonian 
Looks like diff bushing reinforcement and/or NVH damper. Workshop manual yields nothing on it, but the bolts that hold the diff housing run through it. Haven't seen them on S550's, so must be an S650 "upgrade."

Damper makes sense I guess. It definitely isn’t mounted solidly. It wobbles.

Somebody was getting that Exhaust upgrade or Resonator delete for an H or X Pipe!!
