I purchased my mustang on the X-plan which was 2% under invoice and no dealer fees.
My X-plan purchase from Ourisman last year doesn't show 2 below invoice. Unless you count the "deal cash" they added in parts/labor credits to get back to 2 below.

Can you post your deal sheet?

And that's why it's hard to pinpoint an exact number with the A/X/Z Plan.

Some dealers might include additional discounts/credits on top of it.

well, the agreed price was 2% below, but if they took X-plan the numbers looked better on their books. Even though they had to give me 150% of the difference ($400 -> 600) to finalize the deal. The $600 was reflected in a different color of money so accounting/GM wouldn't bitch about the transaction.

[/QUOTE the window sticker stated $29545 before $775 rebate. The X-plan price was $26845.07 before rebate. The whole negotiation was online and the car was sitting on a lot in New Jersey.

https://fordauthority.com/2023/03/ford-dealers-could-get-penalized-for-selling-to-flippers/

Oh sure, penalize private persons who flip their cars but do nothing about ADM.
Fine, I'll buy for MSRP and then split the 'flip' to the dealer as long as the 2nd sale is to out of state. Or you run a side-hustle where your 'no name brand' used car dealer buys 1-3mo since titled cars to sell as "used" with <2000 miles on ODO. And everyone gets a cut.
Some dealers went to federal prison for out-of-state sales where kickbacks were involved.

right, that's a HUGE factor!! The rules and discounts for AZX back then were VERY VERY different and more generous than today.
The Mustang was the only vehicle I used the x-plan for.

The Ford X-plan expired in December 31, 2022.
..."To this point, those that held at least 100 shares of Ford stock for six months were eligible to receive a Ford X-Plan PIN. However, as of June 1st, 2022, that will no longer be the case as the Ford shareholder vehicle discount program is now set to end. The program was originally created with the intention of putting shareholders behind the wheel of new Blue Oval vehicles at pre-determined prices, but that will soon no longer be the case.

Shareholders that qualify for this program still have a few days to act, however. Ford included a form with its shareholder letter that can be filled out with basic information such as the person’s name, address, and the vehicle they’re interested in. Shareholders can submit that form, along with proof of Ford stock ownership, and still receive a PIN that effectively gives them X-Plan pricing through December 31st, 2022"...

I've been calling like 15 dealerships and the lowest markup is 10k.
This is ridiculous. There was all that hooplah about Ford cracking down on this. What happened to that?
What ever happened to the Ford "cracking down on" ADMs?

Not sure what you are talking about. There never was any "cracking down" on ADMs. I think there is some confusion between these two things:
  • Cracking down on dealers adding ADM.
  • Talking about cracking down on dealers adding ADM.
The two are very different. Ford never did the former. They only did the latter, to pretend like they cared.

Ford doesn't give two sh!ts that dealers mark up vehicle prices. They are satisfying their customers, which are, of course, the dealers. The end consumers are NOT Ford's customers and Ford could not care less about them.

I happen to have bought a Bronco in 2022 and I had 676 days to learn that lesson. Wonderful vehicle (if you got one without quality problems), but Ford outright lied to reservation holders. Many threads on the Bronco forum if you want to read the gory details.

Yeah, although the Mustang is a lower volume vehicle and has a Plant all to itself, I fully expect some shenanigans to occur for us as well.
