You’ll need some trim removal tools, like $10 on Amazon.Did you need / use any special tools? I don’t have a whole lot at my disposal atm and don’t really know what to even start buying. I feel like every mod has its own “special” tool you need
7mm
8mm
10mm sockets
Long and short ratchet extensions.
A LONG flat head screwdriver.
Zip ties
The following are not necessary…. But made the process a lot easier on the fingers:
7mm ratcheting wrench.
Painters tape
Universal joint socket (one of those flexible knuckles)
I would also recommend only using 1/4” socket as there is some tight spaces.
When installing the reflectors, have someone push them in from the other side while you try to tread on the nut from the back side. Because that nut has to cut its own thread onto the plastic, it takes a little force. Which will push the reflector back out of place and make it hard to get that nut to bite into the plastic.
This was the spot where the ratcheting wrench really came in clutch.
Be sure to go to forms site and watch their install videos. They are actually pretty good, though they don’t fully explain how obnoxious some of these spots can be
Also, I used painters tape anywhere I could have metal against the paint or was using the trim removal tool against the paint.
Also, also, this will be a lot easier if you're skinny. I’m a fat dude with absolute bear paws for hands…. So a lot of the be hind the bumper shit was more complicated that’ll it needed to be
