Hand-wash her. The weekly tradition.

The GT PP wheels are a pain to clean and keep clean. 4 days of driving and those things are coated in brown dust. The end result is worth it though haha, one of the best OEM wheels imo.

I installed BMR performance springs (close to drag spring specs) with cam bolts along with Steeda Subframe Alignment and Support Kit.

Installed Silvers neomax coilovers. We’ll finally have them adjusted correctly and alignment dialed in. Night and day difference in handling. I used Gyraline to do the alignment myself. I have to say for $179 dollars the tool worked amazing. For the cost of 1 alignment you can align your car for life and make quick adjustments as needed. Highly recommend both!

I did an odd project yesterday.

A few months ago I put a new rear spoiler on. Removing the old one was a PIA and because I lifted the OEM spoiler too aggressively I accidentally broke the 3M tape seal that holds the tail panel module seam flush with the top of the trunk. It made a loud pop I didn’t realize what it meant at the time. (So even though the trunk module is bolted on, there is a bead of 3M tape at the lip to keep that plastic unit flush with the trunk top.)

So that rear module the spoiler stuck up a little higher than the trunk right at the seam. The 3M tape wouldn’t stick again, and I already added the blackout panel between the taillights, so total removal and fresh 3M tape was not an option at that point.

So yesterday I drizzled some thin cyanoacrylate (Crazy Glue) into the seam, and while I pushed the lip down at the seam, my wife sprayed kicker into the seam. (Kicker makes the glue cure instantly) …. It worked! Now the module is flush with the trunk again…or at least as much as it started.

How was the work load for the ones you've done already? I plan on doing the exact same thing when I get my 26'

The 7 lights I replaced were not hard, just a little tedious.
Front 2 markers, super easy. 5 min per side.
Rear tire markers, 45 minutes per side. The rear markers and reverse light took about an hour.

So 2.5-3 hours.
Again, not difficult, just tedious.

Did you need / use any special tools? I don’t have a whole lot at my disposal atm and don’t really know what to even start buying. I feel like every mod has its own β€œspecial” tool you need
