And here’s my cover. If I wanted it painted, I’d have it painted or paint it myself. The point of my post was since I have the strut to strut tower brace, I didn’t want to keep the cover on and lose access to the top of the engine. I was barely able to remove it with the brace. The last thing I want is a bigger problem by putting one back on that’ll show scuffs to painted surfaces nor have to remove/reinstall the brace as that runs the risk of snapping off the bolts welded to the sheet metal. Besides, open hood peacocking isn’t my jam anyway (function over form for me). The only cleanup I would consider are the ones on the Bullitt, Mach 1, and now the Gen 4 Aluminator, but wasn’t sure they’d fit since I only saw them on Gen 3 Coyotes (until I saw the new Aluminator). Thus I answered my original question. So I guess I added to the s650 community with that knowledge, but seems it isn’t the popular direction.
