So we can agree on the price differential being the sneaky part then??? As you’re right, you either get the “New Vehicle Extended Warranty” or the “Extended Warranty”. The former is only prior to first registration and latter which you can only buy when your Ford base Warranty is expired. The “Extended Warranty” is also segregated on the website as being from ‘Ford Protect’. Not sure if that is a separate division or even company from that which would give you the “pre registration extended warranty”.

It’s all a bit convoluted and without pricing to make an informed decision, a bit frustrating. It doesn’t matter what manufacturer it is, these things are never very clear and often the salesmen not fully trained either.

But chin up, we’re all getting Mustangs. Life can’t be so bad.
