Tune included with Whipple Crusher Intake

Seen discussion about the intake itself but nothing specifically about the tune.

All of the threads I see just turned into open airbox/hood versus closed airbox/hood arguments.

Their website states an increase in RPM but has anyone actually noted any specifics? Can’t imagine the intake itself warrants a tune so is this limiter adjustment where any gains is coming from?

They offer the intake two ways. Intake alone which doesn't require a calibration and then the intake with an HP tuners device and calibration. The calibration will make more hp/tq than with the stock tune and you'll also have the added benefits of higher rev limits and better shift schedule (auto cars).

What if you already have a MPVI3 and just need their file? Does their calibration void the warranty? Did they ever revise the calibration for the lower than stock torque numbers?
