What sort of business is he in that owning a CFTP would make a difference?
Window cleaner, got him in with other car minded businesses guys, construction, brick work, concrete, another that owns pizza chains, and now he’s the go to for that type of work when needed.

All those guys also own gt500, and then got invited to parties out at the private road course/car condos in the area, I’ve gotten in with them all by proxy as well, even though I’m just a lowly GT owner, but I got mine in sept 23, so it was the 1st a lot of them had seen, same with the whipple.

Now this is definitely a level below “GTD guy” or like this year I’m sure ZR1, ZR1X would be a good networking car also.

But once you’re in… you’re in.

It’s the same thing with Rolex’s, you get a Rolex to meet and be in the peer group of guys who wear a Rolex.

Got into golf this year as well… you know what’s good for business? Being able to stick fairways and have a sick chipping game.

This is a bad take, buying a GTD IS a flex, you can’t just buy one, you need to be selected by Ford to be allowed to purchase

Owning one show you are “a somebody” not to mention it will get you invited into places that you’d likely never network into alone

My good friend bought a GT500 CFTP, it’s hard to even calculate the value he got from networking and business from that one flex.
Selection and limited quantity is a not a flex for the GTD. The ZR1 is superior in every way…for half the price. 🤣

I think the ZR1/X is also a flex, I want one.
They aren’t mutually exclusive… but they are different levels of buyers.

The average GTD buyer can score a ZR1 no big deal… the average ZR1 buyer will NEVER even get the opportunity to have a GTD… that’s the difference
