Took my S650 to the drag strip

Took my s650 to the drag strip for the first time had a blast and some ok runs. Definitely room for improvement!

Decent run. MPH seems a hair low. Get some real tires on that thing and fix that 1.9 60 foot time and you should be in the 11's

When you grew up in a decade where a 13 flat was the Holy Grail for cars, 12.2 is freakin’ awesome and 12.1 is that much better.

Hi, nice time. Not telling me age. But I grew up also when a 13 sec daily driven street car was consider fast. I have driven Big block's Ford 428, 429 Mustang , Torino ,Cougar, Spoiler. And gotten them in the 12 sec range and was very fast for the time period. Keep up the work and your reaction time will improve as well as your ET.

I remember doing a dyno day with
my ’97 SVT Mustang
a ’94 SVT Mustang
and a ’96 SVT Mustang

probably a few more but I’ve forgotten... in Manassas, VA.
I put down 250 and change stock the 94 put down 248! ! !
I put on a couple mods 1x1
air filter, open air box, ended the day with a best of high 260’s
put an x pipe on after that’d got 278 and then pullies for 5 more - separate dyno days.

I didn’t see 300 hp until I got my ’01 Lightning ;-)
well... I did have a couple big blocks before this - ’70 442 and a 460 shoehorned into 1969 cougar.
But this really is a good time to be a gearhead.
