I ordered the Ford Performance Extreme Active Cat-Back System with 4" chrome tips (M5200-M5EC) a couple of weeks ago. Should be arriving at my dealer before long.

Has your exhaust been installed? I am on the fence between this option or with Borla exhaust. How loud is the extreme version? Please post pictures of the dark horse rear valance and 5" tips.

Yes, it was installed a couple of weeks ago. It's pretty loud. I'm deaf, so I run it in track mode most of the time. Love the way it pops and cracks when I downshift.

Out of curiosity, is there anyone who makes black exhaust tips for the '24 GT active exhaust yet? (Just the tips, not looking to get a completely new exhaust system...otherwise I'd be going quieter-yet-bassier than stock for a change of pace ).

i wouldnt expect to see or hear anything about these exhausts until June or July based on what FP says about the carbon fiber parts for the FP800. Also for people with a GT wanting the 5" tips, youll probably want to get the $3000 version as that also comes with the DH rear valence otherwise the 5" wont fit according to FP.
