This is how the "DARK" horse wheels should have came from the factory (powder coated black)

Yes the car definitely looks great with black wheels. Ford wouldn't have done that because of their lousy choice of the cheapest brake pads they could possibly find. My DH is a 24. Still have original brakes on it. Since I priced Brembo ceramic pads at around $500.00 just for the front set. Then having installed ???.
So now you and the rest of us who have "BLACK" can clean them everytime we go around the block.
The dust don't show as much on factory original wheel. Clean and not clean. Not clean was about a 20 mile drive. Personally I love the black but I'm very particular about keeping my car clean. Enjoy your beautiful car.

I put Ford Performance HP wheels on this summer. They're exactly the same specs as the Dark Horse non HP wheels and they were only $880 on sale. I like how the matte black finish looks.

I love the Black Satin finish for the OEM DH wheels. I’m waiting for my Carbonized Gray DH, and will give a Epoxy electrostatic powder paint for the wheels, in satin black. I will also paint satin black the side mirror covers, front lights mask and the top of the rear wing. All that came satin gray looks too much grey for the carbonized grey body. I’ll post photos here when the project is done.

I agree the brake dust with the factory brake pads is egregious..... Nice car, you have good taste....😉

FYI Ford Performance now sells OEM DH wheels in a satin black, bronze, or gray (OEM). I really love my DH, but the wheels I would have preferred black and the tips of the exhaust polished….black tips….when I have spent countless hours shining up the exhaust tips over the past 50 years……..I don’t get it.
I read a post where this guy said he accidentally sprayed brake fluid on his black tips and the chrome magically appeared. Said he loved the look
