So I have taken my GT in 5 times now for dash rattles, and to my surprise, they still can't resolve them. So today I decided to take the car to the states most highly recommended (also the dealer I ordered the car through) dealership because their service center is usually fantastic. Now I live an hour away, thus why I haven't brought it here sooner. Anyhow, I had a tech ride with me to listen, at 35mph and above there's a metal shuttering/wind noise on the passenger side dash, he heard it which was a relief because I've had a few techs say they can't hear it. He goes inside after the drive and pulls the previous records from the other dealership, and then him and the Service manager pull me aside and explain that at this point it needs to be seen by a Ford Engineer. So they are going to call their contact that works directly from FRAP and have him come look at the car to try and figure out what is happening and come up with a solution or fix. I'm honestly shocked they didn't try to run me around or attempt a fix themselves first. They said it can be a week to a few months depending on how in depth this has to go, and if it can't be resolved or the repair gets too extensive they may initiate a buy back. Fingers crossed that they just fix it, love my job 1 GT. 7,100 miles and no issues besides this damn rattle.
