This can't be right? First 0-60 pull

So I just hit 1000 miles and I babied this thing. Decided for a quick track app 0-60 run. I have a 2024 GT performance pkg magnaride 10speed. It said 3.61 seconds. I'll try and repeat when I have a chance. Heading to the gym.

Ford is making this app a joke, just to convince people that their car is super-fast.
Many believe it and like it, to show off to their friends or to have a good feeling.

I think Ford made this error on purpose for their own "good".

Could've been some wheel spin that triggered the timer to stop or some great conditions and a downhill ride!
To me it feels like the 0-60 is in the 3s even if I know better

I'll have to do a few more passes and find some other way to measure it. It does feel faster than my 18gt but the whole car feels so much better so it's hard for me to guage

Second pass 3.82 and I forgot to put the windows up. Car has been running about 10min of regular driving. I was on a flat surface and it's 59 degrees outside. Drag mode

Would not using a dyno give you a truer result? Not sure what would be the price. As someone replied your track app is probably for Ford’s benefit.

This is the second time it happened and it's easy enough to solve. Have somebody ride shotgun with a stop watch. There is one on the iPhone in the Clock function. Start the time when the car starts moving, The driver will take the foot off the gas at 60 and yell stop which will stop the stopwatch. If there is tire slippage, the speedometer will drop down and show the true speed. If it doesn't, compare the stopwatch to the car computer speed. If the two time are close, the mustang really can do 0-60 in under 4 seconds. In the previous thread, my numbers suggest it is possible but as others wouldn't accept them, it seems we need a real world test and lacking a regular drag strip, this will come close.

So I ordered a Dragy to see for comparison. I'm getting really fast 1/4 mile times to. If those times were right Iwould except faster trap speeds
