The heat cycles under hood and the paint on the badge are a concern. The badge reads that it is exterior. You might get some greater feedback from the manufacturer on how well the paint would accept those temps. If you cannot get clarification from the maker and are still interested, buy it, then rest it under hood for a period of time to see. The brace does absorb and retain heat, like a hot iron.

Edit: there are many shops on sites like EBay, custom badge companies on the Internet. You could take measurements, design something yourself and have them fab one or two up.
