I hadn't expected this to be my first post but......

Picked up my new 2026 special order on Monday and everything on the new car checklist (other thread) was met. Driving home I got a powertrain malfunction/reduced power alert. Then a couple more over the next two days. Turns out there is a bad sensor in the transmission.

Net net the dealer is getting a new transmission to install next week.

Everything else work flawlessly, including my Apple Car play which struggles at times in my A6 to operate without issue.

Window sticker attached for those interested.

Yikes. That is absolutely crazy. How does a bad sensor warrant a new transmission???

They didn't want to do a rebuild or repair. 🤷‍♂️ The whole process from ordering in January until I get the car back is one giant exercise in patience
