Hey all! I've got a 24' GT Premium 6MT with just over 900 miles on it, I noticed this recently and was curious if any of you have experienced the same thing? I have an appointment with my dealer on Wednesday to take a look to make sure everything is okay but figured I'd ask around as well to see if this is a common problem.

Hello! Could you privately message us with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer so I can look into this squeak concern? Thank you!

That's no good. Make sure you take it to a dealership, it could be due to the recall regarding the clutch pedal.

On my old mustang, the pedal used to squeak, until I sprayed it with WD-40. But on a new car, this should not be happening.

Super late but did you ever get this figured out? My mustang has the same problem, going to take it to the dealer soon, but the noise is so annoying

I also have the same problem. I went in twice, they lubed it up and it still happens. Going to bring it again at next oil change.

quick update, I took it to the dealer for diag, they told me that there was no damage or faulty components so there was nothing they could do,that it’s just spring tension noise. I didn’t want to argue with them, but I know a new car clutch is not supposed to make any sound. I ended up ordering a steeda clutch spring, waiting for it to come in to see if it solves the noise issue.

Did they ever figure this out? I switched to a Steeda clutch spring and during install I realized the noise is coming from the clutch starter safety switch. I ended up having issues with the Steeda spring though.

Had the exact same issue on my dark horse. It’s where the spring contacts the plastic perch. Pull the spring and perch and lithium grease around the edge where the spring and perch touch and the perch mount points while you are at it. Eliminated my squeak completely

Second diagnosis by @Shadowblackbeast. However, my solution was conceptually but not procedurally the same. That exact squeak emerged about a week after I picked up my 2026 DH. Having done one clutch spring replacement (on an S550), I didn't really want to risk/repeat the torture. IDK, maybe the procedure is easier on the DH. So, I used a little (very little ) LPS 1 arisol lubricant. Been squeak-free for +500 miles.

Can you send a quick video or photo of this procedure please
