going to the track tomorrow (yes carbon traps IN PLACE) I'm going for the 2024 showroom stock record!

AFAIK there hasn’t been stock data compiled, people either slap a radial on it or pull traps, x pipe etc.

Drag mode… did a small rollout before munching it, also there was a oil slick from the guy ahead, felt like I let up a bit but can’t say for sure if it would’ve affected my time.

I would've thought there would be more posts in here. The M6G forum was full of people trying to hit the best records stock, and October would have been a great time to try.

That being said, quickest S650 vs S550 ive seen stock, seems S650 is a couple tenths and a MPH behind. Again, not a large sample size.

interestingly enough there was a 2020 GT 10r80 bone stock at the track the day I was there… he consistently ran 12.4/12.5s at 114.

it was a great comp for same track same condition, Fbook and mustang6g were blaming the driver but… it was a auto car and the MPH is the tell on how much more power 2024s make.

Wow! Do you have any video? I still have yet to see S550 vs S650 same day/same track. I really dont think the S650 is as much slower than the S550 than people are saying, if at all.

Showroom Stock for Showroom Stock the S650 is not slower the S550. this internet craze of saying it's slower and heavier is just silly. sure some runs may be better than others but a good driver( not saying OP is a bad driver) on the same track running both cars and the S650 should win. I've owned both cars and my butt dyno says the 650 is quicker and better/more refined in almost every way

I'm with you, and I feel like that should be the case. I still have yet to see a 2024 in the 11s bone stock, and 2018 GTs did hit that.

Funny enough, they gained weight over the years and ive heard that some programming changes (torque modulation) made 2020 and later cars a touch slower. Don't know how true that is.

Either way, I wish more S650 guys were testing! Just getting mine broken in and my track is closed for the year. Dragy soon i suppose.
