Saleen - Are they in business? Ordered parts... nothing - 10/28/2025 [*update - product received]

Ordered a Saleen throttle controller on 10/28/25.

Nothing.

Went to the website and used their contact form to ask for a status update/tracking number.

Nothing.

No reply.

3 times.

The last time being today informing them I want a refund. Same auto generated response via email.


Are these guys still in business?

I'm pissed off that I have to call my cc company, dispute the charge, cancel my card and go through all the bs of a new cc with all of my auto pay stuff.

I'm very disappointed that a company like this treats customers this way.

I guess It's a blessing in disguise because I was contemplating a new Saleen S650... (what a mistake that would have been lol).



That said... recommendations on a throttle controller that's basic/simple (yes I know there are all plug-n-play)... I just don't want a device to mount and see... I want set-and-forget.

Receipt email generated. Look 100% legit.

Used their contact form to reach out several times, and each time an acknowledgement email generated.

But that's an automated setup.

Just no follow up, and no parts.

Let Me help ya. Dedicate a CC strictly for on line stuff. Ya have a problem cancel the card get a new one, it'll save you the hassle of what you just encountered.

Not a big deal. It's a $320 purchase. My cc will reverse it. My bigger concern was with the health of the company itself as I was considering purchasing a Saleen vehicle in the future.... which at this point isn't going to happen.

They have gone bankrupt so many times it's not funny......last year they were doing crowdsourcing to get funding as guessing no banks will touch them .....

Better off going with a reputable brand that will be in business a year from now......I knew tons of people who worked there back in the day....would stay far far far far away.....

His big problem now is he crawled into bed with the Red Chinese and they have stolen his patents and pulled other shenanigans but that notwithstanding, he has been in financial peril for close to 20 years and he should just be a footnote in history for his work on the early 2000's Ford GT

I had a Soler on my 19 and really liked it. It is the only one I have used so I don’t have anything to compare to. You don’t have to mount the display and can change the settings using the app on your phone.

* An update*

Received email from Daniel Webster of Saleen yesterday. I offered to process a cc refund. Appreciated. I asked if he had the part I purchased (throttle controller), and if he did... I would still like it. If not, then process the refund.

He said he could get it out in the mail next week which is obviously what I prefer.

A little late to the party but I am thankful for the attention to the matter. Hopefully I get the part soon.

Thats a shame. I recently saw their s650 saleen on youtube and thought they did some cool stuff on it. Elongated hood like 60's stangs being one of them.
