Just installed the Soler performance throttle controller tonight… um, this is the same as a tune folks. I am telling you, night and day with my manual DH.
Soooo happy.
yea I know it doesn’t add hp.
I’ve had a heavily modified 15gt mgw manual with multiple tunes and a heavily modified 21 Mach 1 with multiple tunes and now a 24 DH which felt lethargic . Not anymore , different car now…
How is it in different drive modes?

So far only a small sample since I always go to my custom setup, Sport mode.
Driving in Normal mode ina manual makes no sense to me.
I will try all modes and report back soon.
Merica!

Sigh, I bought one. I'm sure I'll regret it when we can finally tune, but for now this is a pretty good band aid. First gear in Sport is sluggish as hell, though I could turn the nannies off...

I'll post about this when yet another new toy arrives...

How is it in different drive modes?
So I drove up into Wisconsin yesterday 170 miles in the car.
I was able to play with different modes.
Comfort 8 setting -
Normal- just slight increase in throttle response
Sport- Perfect
Track- still not too punchy but definitely better as I find Track mode very lethargic normally.

Sport 5 setting
Sport Mode - very aggressive and touchy... little much for my liking
Track- Actually very nice combo as you get much better acceleration and the suspension in most aggressive mode.

Still very happy with this purchase. honestly as good as a tune

Except it doesn't actually add any power, fix shift points, etc

All the stuff a tune would/could do. Apples and oranges compared to a pedal fucker
But it does do something a tune would otherwise do: pedal/throttle mapping. Between this and Foreskin (forscan), it's a nice Tuner-Lite while we wait for HPTuners to package a working crack to fix this, tire size/speedometer, and other niggling issues.

You are correct and I didn’t say it did those things.
But half of what a good tune does is make the car feel faster.
Since there is no tune option, this is the next best thing for $235 shipped to your door and 20 min install.
Soler Performance has been selling these things for a long time with mostly all great reviews from people that tried it.
Just saying , I concur and really like how it fixed major issue I had with throttle response.
No sure why that bothers you so much?

Throttle adjuster != tuning

Shouldn't been be mentioned in this thread

If you like how it drives better that's great but it's not even relative.

Got it, you’re one of those guys… now everything makes sense.
I brought it up on here as an alternative for some people waiting desperately for a tune, that’s all man..
Really sorry, keep talking about speculation for a tune.

It doesn't actually do anything for the tune that people want it to do. It just alters the pedal input. It's not a tune.

That’s not true. I have had 4 different tunes on last 2-s550’s, 10years , 100k miles of experience.
One of the major things tunes do is make the pedal feel more responsive.
Yes I get people want a tune for power, gear ratio’s, headers, intakes, etc
This doesn’t help in this categories.
We gat it man

I read reviews from the chevy fourms and here. All positive, We/I know its not a actual tune but this does help for sure with gears 1-2 specially manual.

Im excited, i placed my order a few days ago
