Hi,
Im pretty new to the whole Mustang community. Im from Germany and own a S650 Dark Horse 6 Speed Tremec since two weeks. Sorry if my English isnt perfect.
Im now at 1000 Miles and did my first oilchange today. I have a whisteling noise during medium to heavy load at acceleration starting at around 2500rpm and dissapearing at about 4000-4500 rpm from day 1 . To me it sounds simmilar to a Turbo spinning up (high pitch upscaling whistle). Im only able to hear it if my window ist opened. I think the whistle is coming from the transmission, because i never heard it when reving stationary or am i wrong ? Does anyone have a simmilar issue or maybe even a solution to this ? im really concerned somthing is nor right. I Had it at the Dealership today, they told me they can hear it, but have no clue what it could be. They dont have that much of experience with Mustangs and American Cars (as all German Dealerships dont do), because in Germany they are pretty rare vehicles and the Mechanics seem to be a bit lost on that type of Cars.
Hopefully some of you guys have more experience and can help me out. Maybe its state of the art ?
