Got my POM service on Wed and saw a DH with the Bronze/Gold wheels getting serviced as well. It was Blue Ember with a stain PPF wrap - looked bloody good.

Stock height. With the wheels all the way out to the wheel arch, it fills the gap nicely.

Agreed, just enough without being too much, nicely done.

Well VB50GT those Koya's make the Herrods look simply plain jane. Back to the drawing board, I guess. I will concentrate on installing the OEM Spoiler for the moment it just arrived. It does have some small paint chips; I have some touchup paint for now.

Check out Dr. ColorChip -
Product Result – Dr Colorchip Australia

Compared to a touch up pen that you can still see the chip, this system differs in that you can flatten and level the applied paint to be smooth and virtually undetectable.

FYI.

Would be hideously expensive to buy through an Aussie Ford dealer, I'd reckon. :whew:

S650 Mustang S650 - Australian OEM or Aftermarket Wheels Captur

Since its debut for the 2024 model year, the all-new S650 generation Ford Mustang has gained a number of aftermarket parts and accessories, coupled with an array of goods from The Blue Oval itself.

This has long been the case with the famous pony car, and in many instances, FoMoCo has offered owners of EcoBoost and GT models the same sort of upgrades present on the range-topping Ford Mustang Dark Horse. That’s once again the case with this new Ford Mustang Dark Horse wheel kit, which was just added to the Ford Performance catalog.

The new (standard) Ford Mustang Dark Horse wheel kit is listed in the Ford Performance catalog under part number M-1007K-DHB, with a retail price of $1,705. (USD$!!!!)

It’s designed to fit all 2024-2025 Mustang models, featuring a black finish, though one can also opt for Sinister Bronze (part number M-1007K-DHSB) or Battleship Grey (M-1007K-DHBG), too.

Otherwise, the kit includes two 19Ă—9.5-inch front wheels and two 19Ă—10-inch rear wheels, which feature a 40m offset up front and a 52.5mm offset for the rear. Additionally, the kit comes with four Mustang center caps.

Roughly AUD$10k for a set of four + what ever markup Ford AU and dealers put on top of that.
As much as I really like the look of these wheels, and the ease of cleaning.... I don't think so. :frown:

Yeah thats expensive! :crying:

You might be able to find a set of take off wheels from someone that owns a Dark Horse and moved to aftermarket wheels or the handling pack DH wheels.

I know there are other options that look very similar and are essentially clones of the DH wheels. SVE DHP1 wheels as an example.

I recently found the chinese company that makes Apex wheels and i am in the process of getting the wheel specs settled to order after they come back from holidays next week . So far process is fantastic and they have been very helpful , reviews are awesome . Lets just say the price should be amazing . Was a hassle to find the manafacturers for Apex for sure and i wont reveal them till i got mine but with some deep research its findable . Its a shame Apex do not have an aussie distributor as i would have rather dealt with them as i will miss the security of warranty and their track damaged 50% of replacement but without that security its worth a punt considering how much money i will save . VS-5RS the wheels ( got that GT3RS vibe ) i am interested in , got some tyres in mind and given i dont drive my car huge km,s got some track/street tyres in mind as well ... to be continued

Reposted from another thread to keep everything in one place.

Hi guys,

trying to find a set of RTR 19" or 20” tech 5 in bronze for my 24 get. Mustang motor sport are out of stock. Anywhere else in Aus sell them?
Cheers
You might have to wait until they're in stock (which could be a long wait at MM).

Or take a photo to a custom wheel place and they can machine and paint/powdercoat them for you. They might have something in stock that looks the same, or have the Tech5 design on file already. I was looking at a set of those in black once I get through the stock tyres in a year or two.

I found this place as an example but there are others in Aus.
