That's not fair! A beautiful car, in a beautiful location! I'm going to have to drive all the way to Alaska to top these pics! GlennA mostly sunny day and warmer temperatures, so the new Mustang needed to get out of the barn. South Park, Independence Pass, and Cottonwood Pass. 310 miles. The Mustang really enjoyed the sprint up the west side of Cottonwood — so did I! Definitely A Rocky Mountain High kind of day!

Wow! You caught that at the perfect moment. Nice post processing work! GlennThanks for the comments and suggestions. I’m an old man and love to travel. Have done all those roads (fabulous) on motorcycles and my 2022 Ecoboost, which grew into the GT V8. Hnnn, guess I need to do them again in this car.
one of my favorite photos of the ‘22 was at the top of the pass on Chief Joseph Hwy. I made a scurried and fun drive to the top from Beartooth in order to catch the sunset.

Know what you mean. I had a darkroom back in the day. So glad the digital Gods created digital imaging. Now I shoot tons of pics and there is no wasted costs. Love the fact I can shoot video with my DSLR. It makes it so much easier. Anyway, great photos! GlennAnd I took about 100 images in a few minutes as the sun and lighting changed so much so quickly. I edit most of my pictures to try and have them look like what I saw. Did that in the old days through film and paper selection, and work in the dark room.
I spent some time in Colorado Springs at the behest of Uncle Sam. It is a beautiful place. Then my uncle sent me to another picturesque location, in Southeast Asia.Great pictures. Thanks for sharing. My brother and sisters live in Colorado Springs.
Yup, been that route as well. Joined the Marines shortly after graduating high school in '67. Arrived in-country in April '68. Was wounded in September and spent 6 months in the hospital. I've been speaking to high school students for over 25 years and sharing my story with them. Kids are amazing and it keeps me young.I spent some time in Colorado Springs at the behest of Uncle Sam.
