So I bought my car new back in 2007. It was just a bare bones GT except for a 3.55 option which I ended up ditching for the 4.10's in short time. They had it in the showroom with some stupid bling rims and I told em put the stock ones back on and take those off the price.

I had been working two jobs for about a decade (dealership weekdays and parts store weekends) so had some saved up. At the time I was working at the Dodge dealer and they gave me some sht but I said hey I wanted a 2dr rwd V8 with a stick and you don't offer one. So I started to have them put in some mods and the next thing you know my department gets audited mid-year. They thought I was stealing to afford the car, like I'm going to put a window regulator down my pants and sell it online or something. No; I've been working my ass off and would like somethng to show for it.

So of course the audit came up fine except for a couple of trans parts that just happened to fit the parts mgr's son's truck ("Oh I'm sure I just forgot to bill those out"). But it's like wow; part of being a richer is keeping everyone else down. "I'm not happy with money so I'm gonna make sure nobody else has any."

Then I bought a ZX-600 bike and they just fired me outright. Bad for morale or whatever.

I feel like I just sat through a three episode Netflix documentary on dealership embezzlement. Rating

Back in 1997 I bought a brand new F350 crewcab dually then loaded it up with tons of add on's. Well work starts and investigation into how I could pay cash for such an expensive truck. Oh I worked for the local government at the time. I had to prove that my dad was a stock broker and I had been investing with him for years and did well so that was how I payed for it. Everything I went thru and not one word of we are sorry for all the harassment went thru. People and their jealousy.

I got fired for not cutting my hair. It was '68, and I was earning $16 a week:like:
I wish I could have been young, rich and undrafted in '68. The wealthy were content to have most of it unlike present-day when they demand all of it. You could buy your model of choice with whatever members you could afford, get a job, work hard, grab OT, maybe a second job, get promotions, upgrade over time and one day whaddya know there's your dream machine. Work in and results out. Muscle car era 1.0

Perhaps the S197? You know, since, like he doesn't like even own like an 6650, am I right?
s197 forum is dead

All the cars either rusted out from door seal and/or cowl/grommet leaks, got junked because after the bcm took a bath from clogged cowl drains the price of a new one + a reprogramming exceeded the value of the car, or the owners died in them during the several years it took Ford to fix the air bag issue. Ah; those were the days.
