Reasonable price to order a new DH?

I ordered a DH 700A on April 21 and it had not been scheduled. Dealer (at the time) had agreed to MSRP ($83,800 - fully loaded). I reached out last week since the A/Z pricing does not exclude them and they instantly cancelled one order and placed a new one for the exact same car - dropped the price by $7,100.

My build includes Orange Fury paint, painted stripe package, handling package, etc.

FYI:
Ask yourself - would you buy a purple house ...? Cause the re-sale value on an Orange car is in about the same category, order for the future, not the present, cause someday you may want to sell that car or trade it in and the color will KILL you ... Just Sayin'

I appreciate the thought. I know the color is something there are a wide range of opinions on. When I saw this 2018 SHelby with the orange fury, I just loved it. It also demonstrated its a color that has history with Mustang, which is why I went with it. This is not a daily driver for me. This will be a fun summer, weekend car that gets 3-5,000 miles a year on it.

And likely not selling it. The plan is to keep it and pass it down. Only way I would sell it is to upgrade to some other Mustang.

I just ordered a Dark Horse with pretty much everything but the Recaro Seats. I got 8% off list price (full sticker) .. not sure if that is good or bd really .. just the best I could find.

Mine was 8.5% (8.47% technically), so I would say you are right in the range witht he A/Z pricing.

Well I guess I should use a calculator .. it was exactly 9.1% .. when I look at your reply I calculated it .. sounds great , thank you for sharing!

You will get a higher percentage off on a car with more options as that’s where the big markups are.
