Many thanks for sharing your good work.
So it was plug and play or the did you have to do some configurations with Forscan?
When the fog light is on it appears a light in the dashboard?

It's plug and play in the sense that you don't need to add wires like in the S550.
But yes, you need some changes in Forscan, but that's very easy and you will also have the rear fog light tell tale on the dashboard.

Great,
Could you share where bought the switch and the light.?

I guess that for the Forescan changes, the below thread will explain it even for a dummy like me.
https://www.mustang7g.com/forums/th...ist-database-spreadsheet-by-livinitup.159997/

Still some months left for me to move to Europe but if I can do some home work in advance the better.
I bought the switch and the light from a Ford dealership in Europe.
I don't know where you are right now, but these are the part numbers:
Headlight switch: PR3Z11654BA
Rear fog light: LJ8B15500BB

Many thanks, currently living in the US. I will check where it would be easier to get those parts.

Hello RaceRedder,

Thanks for all your message, it was very useful.

I am currently living in USA and plan to bring back with me my Mustang.

To get the EU Homologation, did you have to change your headlights and rear light with E-mark on them? Or is this something we can manage with programming?

Thanks,

Fabien

No, headlights and rear lights can stay the same because people who import their car as moving goods have a few exeptions.

There is no difference in European headlights and American headlights on this model. Only difference is auto leveling but that is not mandatory.

Rear lights can stay red if the Mustang comes back as a moving object.

You need rear fog light and turn signals on the side mirrors. Thats it.

Thanks for your response.

However, the orange rear turn signals are mandatory in many European countries — especially from an insurance standpoint. If you're involved in a rear-end collision and it's discovered that your car does not have homologated rear lights, you could be held fully liable.

I prefer to make the modification if necessary. I would like to understand if I can use the OEM rear light system or need to buy a new one.

Thank you.
