Monday, 5/18/26, an unidentified driver drove his Tesla Cyber Truck into a lake approximately 25 miles north of the DFW Metroplex in TX.
As many/most of us know; passenger vehicles (whether EV or ICE) don't really play well with water of much more than 6 ins of depth. In short; drive your ride into a lake and bad **** is likely to happen. DUH!
When police responded to the stranded Cyber Truck in the lake; the driver told them he was trying out the vehicle's "advertised wading function".
The wading function section of the Cyber Truck's owners manual states: "The maximum wade depth is approximately 32 in. (815 mm) measuring from the bottom of the tire."
Gotta wonder if the drivers insurance policy covers "stupid ****"?
