Pre-Collision Assist Not Available Warning

I chuckled at the irony as well.

I just got this warning today after remote start, 2024 Ecoboost with 400 miles, nothing in front of the vehicle, turned it off and it went away.

Another lol at the song title.

Same here, but only after a remote start it seems...

Every time I remote start either with the key fob or with my phone I get the notification on my phone and in the car saying something along the lines of “pre collision assist is not available”

Same with remote app start; don't have the key fob option. Hopefully they will fix with a software update soon...

Mine just did it too. My collision warning went off for a second then the message appeared (while driving).

Mine does this randomly with the remote start. If I turn it on from the ignition button I have not had this issue. A power cycle resets it but I don’t like doing that right after starting it. If I drive with it, I get a notice sent to the app.

I appreciate someone from Ford weighing in. After 2 years with no problem the alert comes on randomly. I do not using remote start. Sometimes it comes on when starting and other times it comes on at random even on smooth highways. I am sold on it. In the past it saved me. A person cut me off on the highway going at a slow speed and I couldn't believe how hard it braked and saved an accident. I am not going to fool around with what I consider an essential feature that saved my car. It goes in to the dealer in mid July. I have full confidence they will figure it out.
