question,
I replaced the rear break pads on the car so far. Does it matter where and what side of the caliper the wear tab is. I talked to power stop and they said it does not matter with Brembos. The wear tab as of now on passenger is down low and drivers is up. hope this makes sense. please let me know. i appreciate the feedback.

Personally, I prefer symmetry with my brakes. But If they said it doesn't matter, it doesn't matter.
It probably won't break.

You are talking about the metal tabs that contact the rotor face?
Mine are Up - right side, down - left. Viewing from the front.
I guess that's how they're supposed to be.
