For some reason the 'instruction' for pressing the brake pedal and release the parking brake won't clear from the dashboard. Anyone else see this?

Dose it happen every time you use the brake? Or is it on all the time? Try disconnecting the battery for 30 minutes so it might re-boot.

It won't go away at all. Blocks the normal dashboard and is even displayed when the car is parked.

Hi there! Will you send us a message with your VIN and your local Ford dealer? I can look into things on my end.

How about this.
My DH has 1100 miles.
Stop at the shop that's restoring my 2000 GT ( been in my garage 13 yrs) went inside to drop off a couple gas tank seals talk a little. 20 minutes maybe. Leave get in the DH start it up. Fasten seat belt, put in gear. And a code pops up on dash. Suspension Fault. 80 MPH limited. Take to Ford dealer on way home 3:30 pm on a Thursday. He said nothing I can do except you leave it and maybe I'll have it looked at early next week, or set an appointment to have it fixed. I asked and when will that be? Mid June. I just turned and walked out.
Called a dealer closer to home, they sent mobile service the next day. He told me what code was showing up.
The left rear stabilizer ( magneride ) was coding "History" yes history only 1100 miles. He crawled under car, couldn't get to stabilizer. Said needs to be on a lift to low to ground. So took it to the shop (dealership) and it needs new rear stabilizers. 2 week wait at shop kept inside while waiting.
Car has been in normal mode since I got it. And already got this problem. Wonder what's next. The Whipple Supercharger is being installed in 3 weeks. Probably opening a whole new can of worms with that.
Sorry about the long session guess I'm venting a bit to much. But by the time the supercharger install this thing will be 100k plus the wheels and tires.

This happened to me. Let the car sit over night and problem went away. It happened a second time so I made an appointment to have it checked out but before I could bring it in it cleared itself again. I figured maybe a loose connection or a ride hieght sensor issue so put it up on my lift and didn't spot anything. I have put another 800 miles on and the problem hasn't come back. I canceled the appointment because the dealer had a three day wait that wouldn't start untill they had the car and said it would take a higher level technician. Another thought was I received all the software updates maybe fixed the glitch.

Mr Dusman,
Mine hadn't cleared yet. This happen 05/23, mobile service came 5/24. Car set in my garage until 5/29 still on had son take to shop. I got home(out of state on business) as of yesterday they couldn't get cleared, told by Ford to replace rear stabilizers. So it's sitting in their service department until parts come in and they fix, and I return home 6/7. The service dept manager said he hopes they'll be finished. They only have one senior tech who can work on the Dark Horse. Makes no sense to me. I hope it's ready and all is good. Glad yours worked out good for you. Enjoy your car. Thanks again.
