Original Electric Seats

hello fellow DH owners! I know I’m taking a long shot but it’s the only shot I have, I have a 2025 DH with appearance and handling package, has recaro seats with the blue accent trim package. Hoping someone has the same interior with the electric seats that is looking for the recaros. I like the recaros but I just don’t find myself loving them as I am a little big for them. I’m pretty sure I have the 700A model which by my research means I have the correct harness(s) needed. I am in Maryland, and willing to travel to meet anyone who has this interior and willing to give up the electric seats. Here’s to hoping!

I can't remember exactly, but are the Recarro seats heated? If not, then I wonder if you'll be able to use the heated seats on the replacements without some coding.

Of course, that may not matter to you, just wondering. I'm a bit tempted to swap with you, but I think I'd miss the heat and I know I'd regret it every time I try to get my old body out of the car...

They are not heated/cooled. I’m sure if I could find a trade that’s something ford could fix though. I have the accented trim so I’m pretty sure I have the 700A trim which already has the harnesses needed for everything to work. I’ll be checking when I get home if I can remember to do so

edit; I called Ford and they verified that I have the 700A package so wiring wise per my research I should have everything needed for the seat to move properly, just would have to have someone reflash or program it to have the climate control. But that’s a secondary project! Also may I ask do you have the blue interior like me?

Dang! Nice offer! I'm tempted "but" long drive no matter what, not sure if my 401 H/C leather seats would be a straight electrical swap with yours, and those blue accents really wouldn't look good with my black and red interior.

I do not. Standard black with blueish accents? It's all kind of weird.

Regardless, thanks but no, I don't think I want to do the swap. I find the recaros too difficult to get out of for them to work for me.

Yup, I seen this post and that’s what’s got me thinking of doing it. But I have no clue what a forscan is or how to do it

Forscan is a free software package that allows you to change many functions on ford vehicles... www.forscan.org ... it does require a cable adapter to communicate with the car.
