The OLM relies on both time and operating conditions to determine when to change the oil.
At one extreme, changing the oil and parking the car, the OLM will tick down to 0% at the end of one year.
At the other, a track weekend, the OLM will reach 0% over a few days.
At it's slowest rate, the former example, the OLM will tick down at a rate of 1.92% a week. Time is the only factor in this situation.
At it's fastest rate, the latter, RPM, operating temperature, duration of drive, etc., are a variety of factors used in the math.

Did you reset the OLM? At 1100 miles, ours was at 90% when I gave it its first oil change.Hello. Is the oil life meter accurate on these cars? I’ve driven around 200 miles since I changed the oil with Amsoil and it’s already at 85%. I don’t drive it hard either. Thanks in advance!
