I wanted to share the part numbers to add the OEM Racing Stripe Matte Black W/Red Accent to your S650. It is important to know they come in 6 pieces with 6 seperate part numbers. After talking with Ford parts, I mistakenly ordered 1 of the part numbers thinking it was a complete kit. Levittown Ford Parts helped me figure things out after Ford mislead me. Adding the OEM stripe after purchase is way more expensive than just adding it to your build. If I hadn't already purchased one of the stripes with no way to return, I would have backed out and put on some aftermarket stripes. You can find the stripes at Tasca Parts a little cheaper than Levittown Ford Parts but when you add in Tasca's shipping it's pretty even. I went with Levittown since they helped me and were good to work with. Here is a breakdown of the part numbers and price I paid at Levittown Ford Parts.

I have to give Ford some props on the vinyl. It is a really good quality vinyl that is thick and applies easy. Ford also did a really good job putting alignment tabs and marks on the vinyl to help assist with proper placement. The only part that had to be removed during the install was the hood vent. The install was relatively easy once all the prep work was done. Here are some of my install notes/advice.

I by no means am an expert at installing vinyl but have applied racing strips and decals to a handful of vehicles. Enough to figure out the main doās and donāts.

- Make sure and wash your car thoroughly before starting.
- Do a dry fit of the section to check alignment and fitment.
- Apply masking tape in key areas to assure proper alignment.
- Clean area with alcohol.
- Pull backing from vinyl while applying lots of water with a spray bottle. This will keep your vinyl from sticking to itself while removing the backing.
- Spray the area you're working on with lots of water. Water will allow you to move the vinyl around into position.
- Start laying the vinyl down in small sections while squeegeeing lightly. If you apply a lot of pressure with the squeegee at this point, it will basically lock down the vinyl which you donāt want.
- After placing the entire section of vinyl, you can start to squeegee out all of the air bubbles and water. Most transfer paper is not transparent. So, do the best you can without being able to see the vinyl clearly. Squeegee motion will depend on the size and cut of the vinyl. You want to find the shortest path to push out any water and/or air.
- Once you feel comfortable with the placement and water/air removal, remove the transfer paper. Be careful around the edges. The edges have not set in yet and will be easy to pull up.
- At this point squeegee out any remaining air/water until you are happy with the result. Make sure and use a squeegee with felt on the end! Otherwise, you will scratch the vinyl.
- Heat may be necessary on hard edges and along groves that collect water. Put the heat gun on medium heat and do not let the gun get too close to the vinyl. You can cause shinny spots and/or burns in the vinyl if the gun is too hot or touches.
- Repeat the process on the remaining sections.
- Donāt get in a hurry! Take your time and you will be pleased with the result.
