Came out to this surprise this past Christmas Eve. I'm the DH on the left.

Plus that extra 6 hp ain’t bad either with that Active Exhaust!!Active Exhaust is an option that gives you 4 tail pipes and also the option to make the exhaust sound quiet, normal, sport and track. I always put mine on track. Love the sound and definitely worth the money.
That color and wheel combo is smoking. Can't wait to get those wheels on my this weekend. How did you guess?

an alert comes up when I put on 'track' like it should be used only sometimes. Is that right? or can you really have it on all the time?Plus that extra 6 hp ain’t bad either with that Active Exhaust!!![]()
I"m similar to you. I usually dont like a blue car, but if fits on this one, and became more likable as I drove it more. Now I love it. And most people that see it comment on great color, which I never heard on any car I had before.Grabber Blue is such a good color. i got my DH in it because originally i was just alright feeling about it, Race Red was out because i wanted a metallic color, Blue Ember was out because i dont like the appearance package interior, and everything else was meh at best (i refuse to contribute to monochromatic traffic with black, white, or grey!) its absolutely grown on me though, but i would've gone for Yellow Splash without hesitation if it was offered
I really like the dark rims.. Must be easier to keep at least looking clean compare to my aluminum I wipe a lot. This one is mine. As close as a DH I could get without paying the extra $12k to get it.![]()
Mine will stand out a little more.. Im having the diode dynamics fogs put in as we speak. with added switch to have it so the amber back light only comes on or the entire light. Just for a little more attention :-DI have the same as the GT behind you with the performance pack. I also put the RTR front lip and side skirts on so looks more aggressive. Love the grabber blue, best color they offer. I like your rims better, I'm looking for a lighter color rim for mine now.
I almost got grabber blue but went with vapor blue instead, grabber was just too bright for me
I was a little hesitant for similar reason, b/c it's so bright and grabbing lol that it attacts more attention.. My last car was stolen from same spot my stang is in now (my apt building parking spot).I almost got grabber blue but went with vapor blue instead, grabber was just too bright for me
Can you bargain down price on ordering? I'd have done that to order a stick, but I ended up with $6000 off sticker. I'm thinking you cant go lower than msrp for orders? That's the beauty of ordering, if one is patient enough to wait. You can get exactly what you want. I've gotten more patient as I've gotten older, so ordering works for me. Plus, I ordered last October, knowing it wouldn't matter if it didn't show up till spring; I wasn't going to drive it anyway. I too, have Grabber Blue. I'm a fan of blue cars. Vapor might have been my second choice. As far as dirty wheels--there are a lot of good wheel cleaners out there; they make keeping wheels clean easier. And, depending on the finish on your wheels, there are some products out there that do help repel brake dust to a degree. I know; I lived with brake dust for years with the BMWs I owned.
somehow the mustang does the same blue better IMO
I'm liking the look of the polished silver esp when it's very clean also. I learned that a dry paper towel is a lot better than water and a brush to clean.. .and wiping some every few days for a few mins and they look really good.. they weren't clean in that pic either.I had the satin dark HP wheels on my M1. Loved the color/looks, but they were an absolute bitch to clean. Ceramic coating them was a big help. Also new brakes leave dust for a few thousand miles.
There is no wrong answer here as it all personal preference. I will say I prefer dark wheels on lighter color cars because of the contrast, especially if the car has matching dark trim.
For grabber blue, i think its a 50/50 thing. Having seen these pictures side by side I prefer the polished silver. Maybe its because I've been there done that, or maybe it's because I think the darker wheels makes the grabber blue cars look darker with less contrast pop. Black wheels are also getting slightly long in the tooth from a trend stand point.
But thats just my 2 cents. I think both look great.
good choice :-D .. Mine is 3.55.. I got lucky on my deal price $5500-6500 off msrp. . plus my dealer is a 5 min drive away. From the looks, you have a well optioned GT premium. Someone ordered it with the brembo brakes package which is nice. I wonder if you have the 3.55 gears too or the standard 3.15s..?
I tried like hell to find a grabber blue GT premium with 3.55s and brembos and active exhaust. There were only 2 grabber blue GT premiums in all of Arizona. One had Brembos and one didn't. Both had 3.55 gears and active exhaust. The dealer with the Brembo car low balled my trade and wouldn't budge an inch so I walked.
I ended up getting the 2nd one that same day. It worked out because, the second one had just got marked down 3k and they gave me more 3k more for trade. So the decision between saving 6k plus tax and not getting brembos was an easy one. Got plenty left over to add them aftermarket if I still want to.
THAT"S my twin lol. Finally gave her a proper detail today! Man, this color keeps getting better. The Metallic in the sun is pretty cool.
