@snakeyes ...... agreed. Many if not most claims of significant HP claims with simple bolt-on products are IMO false. Of course, I'm not talking about Whipples for example. When building engines we found once you got a certain amount of HP out of a naturally aspirated engine it was very difficult to get any meaningful HP without going forced induction of some sort. For example we'd take a 350 and stroke it to a 383 and get 390-400 Hp on the dyno (although at 400HP it would be pretty twitchy) so I get a laugh out of guys who say you can put a new air filter on the car and get 6-10 HP. I call that BS.

I am my own! I respect every person’s opinion and what they want to do with their own car, who cares your negativity! Go mind your own business!

The consensus from many studies/dyno testing of CAI's over the years is.....Yes, in can increase HP and performance of your engine, more or less depending on the type of engine. I definitely know there was small increase in the flooring the throttle! But I just let them say whatever they want to say and be my own!

No hard feelings from me, but thanks. I really do like the look of it and have "butchered" all my vehicles/motorcycles to what I wanted them to be. But seeing my 1st new car was an '89 5.0 Mustang (only past car I really miss (family 1st)), you can probably figure out I'm old people too, ha.
