Mustang reactions

Just wondering what some people's reactions have been from other drivers has been over the years. Personally I've had mostly good but get the occasional middle finger for whatever reason.

Mate, my 2-month long (yes, I've made it THAT far) experience is that a Mustang is a head turner and people are very appreciative of the message the car sends. Never had middle fingers but did have a few waves of the hand from other Mustang drivers. (mine is 2025 GT convertible, which I only drive with the roof down)

I have noticed more aggressive drivers around me when I am in the Mustang, like they have to overtake me, or be the first at the next red traffic light.

I have also experienced thumbs up from a few random drivers and a handwave of fellow Mustang drivers.

now that I think about it - yes, there have been a few tradies looking to race in their Hiluxes.
But I'm here for the enjoyment of the ride, they may "win" all they want, who cares. It's the good drivers who matter

@mustang mick ....99% of the time great reactions, peace signs from other Mustang owners, waves from non-Mustang owners, positive comments when stopped at lights or in parking lots - (my 2024 GT is a 'vert too) and yes, a lot want to race. Some who want to race are serious contenders WRZ that have been worked on Nissans with turbos and of course the usual suspects, Camaros, Dodge hemi. The funny ones are the "family" cars who just want to see me smoke the tires. I'm not really into that. The odd time for fun I will launch with a bit of pedal which usually settles them down - but - timely post by you.....last night I was out at about 10:30, top down, cruising the city when it's quieter and the lights shine everywhere, soft warm breezes - a nice time to cruise. Camaro convertible pulls up beside me wants to race I said " buddy at this time of night noise really carries and the cops are just sitting around waiting for action". He called me a chicken$shit with a crap car and ripped-off spinning his tires. About 15 minutes later (8 lights down the road that runs through the city) I passed him on the other side of a light - pulled over - with another car at the side of the road. Two long tracks of rubber off the light and into the intersection and three cop cars by them. A flatbed tow truck was behind me and put its lights on. 99% sure these two guys were going to be charged with stunt driving and "flatbedded" and that's deadly where I live: huge fine, license suspension, car impoundment with towing and storage charges.....then the real killer - the massive insurance increases which usually last for 5 years. If you are going to race it's a good idea to check "Ways" for 5-O or have a couple of scout cars. Me, I just stick to cruising with some fun pulls, from time to time, using the paddles to make her "roar and bark".
