Are the rear differential temps on non cooler installed S650 Mustangs "inferred" like the engine oil temps?

No. There is a sensor in the differential. I’ve circled it in red in the photo.

The temp sensor is installed from the factory on performance pack cars. I don't think non-pp cars have the sensor.

No, it’s not the same. The DH cooler is mounted where it gets airflow through the rear valance, so no fan is used. The MMR cooler has a fan so it can be mounted underneath where there is not adequate airflow just from driving. You could put a DH cooler on a GT, but you’d have to change the valance for air flow.

Have the complete DH cooler, pump, lines, and rear valence. Installing this weekend and will attempt to post a few pictures after the install.

I did. Everything is OEM from a 22 GT500 except for the lower valence and under splash guard.
