Mickey Thompson ET Street S/S Tires - these any good?

Michelin PS 4S as they have a rebate currently available, or Continental Extreme sport 2's - input appreciated

The Mickey Thompsons are a drag tire. If you are looking to go drag racing, they are probably a good bet if you have upgraded your rear axles.

They are not intended for high speed cornering, but designed to launch from a standing start.

I have a Whippled Dark Horse HP with the Tremec. I run Mickey Thompson Street ET. 325 40 19 and DSS 2000 hp axles. Plus Steeda stop the hop kit. and cradle lock. If you can get your tires warm this set up works all right.

Haven’t tried them on the Mustang bet they work great on the AMX!

The mickey thompsons are great for straight line grip... I have some on my old hotrod. If you want to do any cornering (especially in the wet) go for the PS4S.

Going with the Continental Extreme Sport 2's (had them on my Mach 1 great tires) save $300 over the PS4's. I buy most my tires from Summit they have fairly good prices and then I get the 5% Military discount so all is good.
