Hey Folks,

Anyone put an MGW Shifter in your Dark Horse?

I'm looking at the MGW GT350 / Dark Horse / Mach 1

MGW Aftermarket Racing Shifters — GT350 Short Throw Shifter

If you have what kit did you put together?

Thinking of the following

GT350/DH/M1 Short Throw Shifter
Anodized Aluminum Stem (Spherical)
Gear Pattern Only Shift Ball (the white one with R on upper left side)

I did the MGW on my 15gt. But what's the point on the Tremec. It’s already really good, short throw, mechanical feel.

You just bored? Lol
Nawwww, I was sitting in a car club members Mach 1 and was testing the shifter and it was soooo much more "clicky" than my DH. It was like the gears clicked into place?

Also, the pull up reverse lockout is a bit of a pain in the ass.

Interesting.
MGW shifters are works of art , that’s for sure.
id like to feel the difference too.
I remember the reverse lockout pull up on the old one, probably my only gripe.

is the Tremec shifter body or trans mounted?

Lemme cue this up for ya.

The difference between the M1 and my DH was very distinctly different.

It's now PUSH to reverse rather than pull like the DH. I don't MIND the pull to reverse but the push is a lot more intuitive for me.
