Reading these posts is why I ordered a PP Dark Horse. I made the mistake of not getting a Z06 corvette, and added tons of performance parts, but at the end of the day, it still isn't a Z06. Same here, you can add all that stuff, but at the end of the day it still isn't a PP car.
As a Z06 owner, I will have to disagree. The Z06 has always been leaps and bounds ahead of the base/stingray. It's wider, gets different engines, gets different wheels, gets different suspension, gets different cooling.

Performance Pack mustang gets you some marginally stiffer suspension and some cooling upgrades.

Yes ... GT350 more like the Z06 ... wider... unique motor... much more different

I had a PP1 before... also had a C5 Z06 and currently have a GT350R ...

I would definitely not call the PP1 or the Dark Horse the Z06 of Mustangs

Maybe the Grand Sport might be better comparison?

With the performance package, include MagneRide and Brembo brakes, and add 19" 275 tires up front and 305 rear; bump the price $3250.
