Make order says still in production

Hello All
My order tracker says its still in production but when I printed my window sticker says its built? The dealer does not know what's going on. The not knowing is the worst.

My order tracker says its still in production but when I printed my window sticker says its built? The dealer does not know what's going on. The not knowing is the worst.

I can't remember for sure if my car was built when the window sticker was available. I don't think it was. though. I do remember when it was in "production" it was a long time, and it seemed to be in every stage a long time. My car was delivered in 12 weeks though, as my dealer said it would be. Getting busy on other things and being patient makes the car come quicker it seems.

The order tracker will show "in production" until it is released for shipping. Then it will show "in transit" status. I assume it is produced and awaiting final inspections.

There may be some more dates that are not on the tracker. Depending upon which browser you use, if you right mouse on the web page, select "inspect", look for "network", and try to find your order number & vin number object. There will be a bunch of dates, like receipt date, production date, release date, shipment date, etc. There should also be etaStartDate and etaEndDate, which is the estimated shipment window (unless it has some old date, like 1990-01-01).
