You made the right move. CONGRATS! The DH is the best Mustang yet. Before I got the DH I was trying to get Mach 1 and noticed that most dealers sales people when I called they would answer with Mach-E. The EV mustang sadly came out with the Mach name when the Mach 1 was available and the sales folks could not handle the difference .

I installed the gurney flap and fender flares yesterday. The air deflectors I have also but didn't know where they were supposed to go.

Your dealer should have installed them. They go under the car up near the front wheels.

Oh this should be easy. I ordered an x pipe. Once it comes in I'll do both since I'll already have the car jacked up.

Currently have a 22 Mach 1 HP, going to look at a used 24 DH HP 6 speed tomorrow with 900 miles. Anyone make this switch? Wheel lips not installed but are in the trunk along with the car cover and owners kit. I don't see the gurney flap so will be asking about it.

Anything I need to be look for or looking out for?

After driving both what is your opinion on the S550 M1 vs the S650 DH?

Oh this should be easy. I ordered an x pipe. Once it comes in I'll do both since I'll already have the car jacked up.

Unless you just like the X-pipe sound cancel the X and buy the H-pipe. The H-pipe has proven to make a few HP more on the S650 chassis.

I know you didn't ask me but I'll tell you biggest improvement from my 21 M1 to 24 DH is the chassis, much more solid planted ride that soaks bumps way better.

Noticed that vs our old 22 GT convertible but that would be an apples to oranges.
The DH is almost a perfect car I can only think of two gripes:
1- weight
2- price
But what are you going to do?

That describes most of America, Fat and Expensive! LOL
I think it handles the little extra weight quit well actually. Ford worked some magic on the magnaride tuning

The Mach 1 felt more like a race car. The DH handles bumps a million times better. I put the dh thru some of the twisties I do, it felt more confident than the M1 which is shocking to me since all modes of the suspension feel softer. Steering is lighter in sport mode also. Overall, I think the dh is the better car, by quite a bit actually. I'm actually in love with this car. I was nervous I'd miss the Mach, but I don't.

I appreciate it, I always do an x. I will say I almost went h this time though, lol. The couple of HP either way won't even be noticed. I just prefer a bit more rasp, the h seemed flat to me.
