I ordered 1st Feb, had my spec with the dealer so he could put it in on the day ordering opened.

Do you have a window sticker ? Shouldn't be far off for an early April build. Although 5th April is a Friday and builds are usually scheduled by the Monday of the week they'll be built in.

I did order from Kidlington and I agree about the date, I think it's a holding date.

I've not seen any positively confirmed dates for RHD cars from any country, unless you've heard something?

Looks like we're the same car same dealer then, they might even arrive together. Probably even the same sales rep (i'm not going to mention him by name tho)
When did you last check in with him ? Do you have a vin ?
If you're original date is coming up it might be worth giving them a nudge.

Mine is someone elses cancelled order that was almost the same as mine, when he checked on vista a week ago my build week was 13th May. Since i have a vin it's scheduled but subject to change with all the shortages.

Probably the same guy, I checked in with him yesterday and no updates, plus no VIN. That's got me a bit worried if you have one already?

Status update: car confirmed in Antwerp since march 28. ETA still mid June
Edit: it's actually in Cologne for quality control already.

The next steps shared by my dealer are:

From manufactured to keys in hand they use an internal ETA of 5 months.

From manufactured to keys in hand they use an internal ETA of 5 months.

They should give you the option to pick it up in Cologne and drive it home...

Status changed to 'Serialisation' VIN has already been issued.

I've just changed my order from auto to manual.
Still no vin, still no eta, there are some pre builds coming in a couple of months but not my spec unfortunately

Yes, "a couple" to be even more precise, there's at least a manual black dark horse and a blue ember (no idea about the transmission) coming in 2/3 months.

Well you got the info of 4 cars that were 'in plant' with vins but not sold!
I find it very odd that they'd pre-allocate a bunch of cars, but then not build them all to plan, and build cars that haven't been sold whilst cars that have been sold get no updates and for the most part the only difference is the paint colour madness and not a way to run a business let alone a successful one.

The only thing i've seen in common is 'finance information unavailable' on the cars that should of been built already. Is ford uk not paying for ordered cars ?

My build date is 1 month today. I have zero confidence that it'll happen on time

I offered 1/3rd in cash but the order deposit was only £500, my order is showing up as financed and has a vin. The paperwork shows the order is paid for by Ford UK, it's then up to me to settle with Ford UK when the time comes.
