could be they add it after at the dealership, I know in the US the cars with the handling package are changed when they arrive at the dealership (the front lip and the wheel well lips are added after for example). Maybe it's the same process here and the models shown have not been done yet until...
indeed an EU Version with the grey side markers in front and the EU taillights with the lower part being the turn signal like shown in Ace's Test Videos. This is indeed a bit reassuring
I just keep hoping that all these models are like early dealer orders and that they were not ready with the wing (the famous sentence in the legal notes on most Dark Horse Ford pages mentioning after April). Optimism dies last 😂🙈
I guess we will see, I asked my dealer to check. And if we get that horrible lip then I guess aftermarket will be the way to go.
In the Australian forum they have a company preparing spoilers (don't pay attention to the prices, they are placeholders for when they launch their products)...
Even number 2 (the GT decklid) would have been better than that hideous lip... like WTF. But at least it might be possible to get it separately maybe 🤔 but not cheap considering it should be in the package...
I am not sure that is really the fact, the 2018-2023 EU versions had a similar spoiler (see screenshot of the configurator). Plus why would they mention the sentence in nearly all Ford pages with the April mark. I think they just don't know, there's no official information mentioning the small...
ya looks smaller and different.
The aftermarket also seems to be pretty inexistant at the moment for the exception of Steeda, RTR and Anderson who have created Spoilers for the 2024 Mustang. But they don't look great...
Ace mentions that some DHs in Antwerp already have the spoiler... I guess...
shit yes didn't see them . Well let's hope that we get the spoiler as it is advertised as such in the configurator, brochures and official video presentations of the car.
Maybe interesting to ask in these dealerships where they have the small lip if those models were ordered with the...
same here, or I will ask for them to add it (preferably not on my costs...). I hope, since most of us ordered different configurations (paint, with/without Recaros) that our models will not be the preallocated versions where some of the cars don't have the spoiler.
this is strange some of have the small lip and other the real spoiler (like the one in Luxembourg: https://www.mustang7g.com/forums/threads/dark-horse-in-luxembourg-europe.159914/)
plus in the configurator it is clearly marked as a "base" equipment here in French (swiss configurator): "Aileron...
not a lot of footage, but my preferred dealer has received their Dark Horse (Blue Ember US model sadly). I'll have to go visit to check it out (probably in 3 weeks as they are 1h15 away).
In the footage 3rd car after the green and the black GT500
some other angles from their facebook page...
I didn't put anything down , they said they would carry the cost until the car is here (same back then in another garage when I ordered the 2015 GT).
Funny that Ford dealers function differently from country to country.
The spoiler for the Dark Horse in Europe is the base Spoiler of the US DH (not the bigger one for the handling package), but it is different as the US GT Spoiler. Seems RTR, Steeda and other brands have done aftermarket spoilers as well.
Regarding Ford configurator, the other countries don't...
The H or X pipes replace the resonator (the so called "suitcase") in the whole cat-back system. The question is: change the axle-backs where the active valve system takes place (you can find different brand doing those with the active valve system) or do a resonator delete? The axle-back swap is...
I'll probably ask my garage if they can do some DIY thing as shown in the US thread. I checked on my 2015, there is no stupid hole like on the S650.
They did redesign the airflow of the undercarriage so could be that it has a purpose in that area.
