Hello, Been lurkin on Mustang forums since I had access to the internet, most notably over on Mustang6g/Mustang7g, and finally 25years after I fell in love with Mustangs, A buddy of mine decided to give me his old 2006 Mustang V6 Manual. Introducing, Twisted Ruby!

She has a lot of work to be done to her but the engine and drivetrain seem solid still which is surprising to me after nearly 218K Miles.

So far after initial inspection, she needs a new bulb in the middle right tail light, a new headlight bulb, new rear quarter window driver side, and some new rear quarter fenders/rockers, hood, new rims due to a crack in the right rear, and an underbody rust patch. but other than that she's solid.

Can't complain about free right?

So glad to finally join the Mustang Family!

That's the plan. It's a long road and nothing will happen quick until I'm actually workin consistently again. Been out since November. Ruby will be a huge help to hopefully turn that around. Get the basics done and then work her back to shape. Once that's done I got plans for custom rear lights and some body mods.. Debating whether i keep the original red in the end or move to a more ruby/maroon Metallic. If I do go that route, I may go more towards Royal Maroon from the 69 Mustangs.

@fordmustangnerd ...... fingers crossed that recent improvements in the economy benefit you and that you get consistent work. These days anyone wanting to work (IMO) versus looking for a hand-out deserves the best! Good luck!
